May 1, 2026 is our 6th annual Pregnancy & Postpartum Psychosis (PPP) Awareness Day.

PPP is the most severe perinatal mood disorder. Mothers with PPP may experience hallucinations, delusions, extreme mood swings, and confusion.

Tragically, PPP can lead to suicide or infanticide.

As difficult as it is to think about, awareness is critical. Early action can save the lives of mothers and babies.

Donations support educational materials on PPP for individuals and healthcare providers, among other initiatives.

Below are just a few examples of what today’s donation can support:

  • Your $25 donation can sponsor a PPP survivor in our advocacy program.

  • Your $50 donation can support a PPP educational event for health care providers.

  • Your $100 donation can help honor a mother who died by suicide at a memorial event.

  • Your $250 donation can support public awareness and media outreach on PPP.

  • Your $500 donation can support ongoing campaigns around maternal mental health.
